  10. Hi,

  12.   Anyone out there know how to make a bootable Linux floppy?  I made one
  13. according to the instructions that come with the GCC rootdisk, modifying
  14. them as required for LILO 0.7.  It crashes as follows:

  16.    LILO Loading Image...
  17.       ...etc...
  18.    Insert root floppy and press ENTER
  19.    Linux version 0.99.pl1-47 (root@woody) 12/26/92 11:46:59
  20.    init: exec rc failed     <--- Dies here!
