- In this case, I was more of an end-user than a programmer. The fix for
- my particular case seems to be the "INIT" string in /etc/default (again,
- I am using uugetty from getty_ps package). It seems the first ATZ was
- getting missed by my modem, so adding another should fix.

- Linus - After reading about POSIX improvements to SIGHUP etc. handlying in
- 0.99pl1, I feel real good about the 15 minutes it took me to compile the new
- kernel! I was worried all that time would go to waste :-). But seriously,
- you have got to make this kernel install stuff more difficult! It is getting
- too easy! I mean, you wouldn't see the major comercial vendors giving you a
- make file with "config, dep, and clean"! Would you. At least make us return
- a registration card or something.
