- The problem I reported previously in making gcc-2.3.2 was caused by
- a missing character in the gcc/install.sh file. gcc-2.3.2 makes and
- seems to work well (compiles itself and the kernel) on my SLS (of
- 12/03) system with a 0.99.1 kernel. Users may want to consider
- changing the linux-specific part of configure to install in
- /usr/instead of /usr/local (change prefix to /usr from /usr/local),
- and the system install program can be used instead of install.sh by
- removing the "broken_install=yes".
