  12.     Well, after seeing several people post to this newsgroup asking
  13. about FAX/modem software for Linux and not seeing any responses, I've
  14. decided to ask myself.  Is there any available?

  16. I tried porting a package called fax-3.2.1 which I found at prep.ai.mit.edu
  17. and pretty much got it to work, and then realized my FAXcard wasn't a
  18. class2 fax.  I also looked at the faxpax program in volume24 of comp.sources
  19. .unix, but that didn't receive, it only sent.

  21. Anyone have any advice?  This is the last thing that I really need to
  22. get working before I can rid my harddrive of MS-DOS...
