  13. I just installed SLS .99 acouple days ago, and only root is able
  14. to change passwords.  /bin/passwd replies unable to change password
  15. and password locked for user.

  18. /etc/passwd is -rw-r--r--
  19. /etc/shadow is -rw-------

  21. I thought I saw a question about this the other day and the reply was
  22. to apply the fix files, but when I got SLS, there were no fix files 
  23. on disks a or b series and there have been none since then.

  25. Passwords are expiring after one day for none root users also.
