  20. One way to fix is to use uugetty in the getty_ps package.  It uses     
  21. /usr/spool/locks directory (something like that) to coordinate with 
  22. kermit.

  24. Unfortunately, I have failed to get my modem to work with 3 gettys
  25. so far.  Best I can do is print /etc/issue using agetty and enter login.
  26. Unfortunately, password is never prompted for.  And hand-shaking is 
  27. screwed up somewhere, because /etc/issue is printed w/missing 
  28. characters.
