- I have a NS8390-chip-ethercard driver in alpha test. This
- driver supports the following cards:
- * 3c503 Etherlink II
- 3c503/16
- National Semiconductor 8390x evaluation boards
- * NE2000 clones
- NE1000 clones
- Some Cabletron cards
-
- * I have access to these types of ethercards, and can test the
- driver with them.
-
- It should be easy to modify to support HP cards, but I can only borrow
- a 10BaseT HP card, and so can't test it.
-
- This driver will only work with 8390-based ethercards. It will not
- support ethercards based on the following chips:
-
- AMD LANCE
- Intel 82586
- Seeq 8001 (the 3Com 3c501)
- 3Com designed ASICs (the 3c509)
