  13. I have a NS8390-chip-ethercard driver in alpha test.  This
  14. driver supports the following cards:
  15.     * 3c503 Etherlink II
  16.       3c503/16
  17.       National Semiconductor 8390x evaluation boards
  18.     * NE2000 clones
  19.       NE1000 clones
  20.       Some Cabletron cards
  21.  
  22.     * I have access to these types of ethercards, and can test the
  23.     driver with them.

  25. It should be easy to modify to support HP cards, but I can only borrow
  26. a 10BaseT HP card, and so can't test it.
  27.  
  28. This driver will only work with 8390-based ethercards.  It will not
  29. support ethercards based on the following chips:
  30.  
  31.     AMD LANCE
  32.     Intel 82586
  33.     Seeq 8001 (the 3Com 3c501)
  34.     3Com designed ASICs (the 3c509)
