  12.   I managed to get the latest xspread to compile under Linux.  Sed does not
  13. handle things properly.  I cheated and used my schools sed and undefed pow()
  14. and SIGBUS.  If you don't have access to a better sed, mail me and I will send
  15. you the two (small files) you need.
