  10. (Before posing my question, I should mention that I'm a first-time Linux
  11. user, running the 0.99 SLS release on a 486SX-25, 8MB RAM, 60 MB Linux
  12. partition. I'm typing this in via Kermit running in the BASH window under
  13. X, on my VGA Wonder in 800x600. Impressive!)
  14.  
  15. Anyways, after all the necessary tweaking necessary to get X to run at 640x480
  16. and finally 800x600 (and at first, to run at all!) on my ATI, I'm finding
  17. when I exit back to the Linux shell that I can't see a thing. Instead, there
  18. are multiple lines running down across the whole screen. I have to 'reboot'
  19. and restart.

  21. Also:  I'm running Linux in 132x44 currently. Could this have something
  22. to do with it? If so, how do I revert back to 80x25?
