- (Before posing my question, I should mention that I'm a first-time Linux
- user, running the 0.99 SLS release on a 486SX-25, 8MB RAM, 60 MB Linux
- partition. I'm typing this in via Kermit running in the BASH window under
- X, on my VGA Wonder in 800x600. Impressive!)
-
- Anyways, after all the necessary tweaking necessary to get X to run at 640x480
- and finally 800x600 (and at first, to run at all!) on my ATI, I'm finding
- when I exit back to the Linux shell that I can't see a thing. Instead, there
- are multiple lines running down across the whole screen. I have to 'reboot'
- and restart.
-
- Also: I'm running Linux in 132x44 currently. Could this have something
- to do with it? If so, how do I revert back to 80x25?
-
- Thanks for your help.
