- PANEL Plus II consists of a screen layout designer and user interface
- manager which produces screens for C applications portable across DOS,
- Windows, OS/2, Unix (many flavours) and VMS. It handles data entry and
- validation, menus and scrolling regions, etc. The next release will have
- Coherent support in the included full library source. I don't know yet
- whether we will make a "PANEL Plus II for Coherent". The problem is that
- though our product is not really expensive ($495 per development user, no
- royalties) it appears to be expensive when compared to Coherent itself. We
- cannot produce a "cheap" Coherent version because this conflicts with our
- policy of making the price platform independent. Do any other tools vendors
- have a view about this?
