  24. I am still around, but it appears my postings are no longer making it out...
  25. I will gladly hand over the FAQs to the appropriate person however, since
  26. I have done the FAQ off & on for about two years now.  I have a set of
  27. four FAQs put together, and I wil post (via this machine) the FAQs and
  28. my thoughts about the direction of the FAQ from here.  Then I will go 
  29. fix my system so that I can post again.  :)

  31. Last I saw, "Steve" will be the new care taker of the FAQ, and I welcome
  32. the change.  I have been wanting to put more effort into porting code
  33. to Coherent, and have been constantly torn between the FAQ work, which
  34. has obviously been lousy on my part these days, and porting code, which I 
  35. have been having a good time with.  (My latest work is on pine/pico, who 
  36. knows how it will turn out). But between working in a startup company,
  37. and working in my own business, I have had little time to "clean" the
  38. FAQs to the level I would like to see them in, or work on the porting of
  39. code.  It will be nice to have someone more focused on the FAQ that will
  40. do a good job!

  42. So in short, since I just posted the FAQ again from my other system, and
  43. will post it here, you will either see 4 FAQs or 8, and I apologize in
  44. advance to my european friends that pay extra for phone time.
