- I'm hoping someone out there might have come across a problem similar to mine
- and can lend a helping hand. I have my KORG 01/W connected to my PC (a 486sx
- 25 mhz Gateway 2000 with 4mb RAM and 170mb HDD) which is running Cakewalk Pro
- for windows.
-
- My problem is this.... Whenever I send a sysex dump to my keyboard, I get an
- error message on the KORG "ERROR: System Exclusive". I'm dumping sequence
- data containing all programs and velocity, pan, etc...data. KORG thought it
- might be my operating system, and I upgraded the ROM ship from version #21 to
- #38, but the problem still exists.
-
- I can play songs, and the computer and keyboard seem to be communicating just
- fine until I try sending a sysex dump to the keyboard.
-
- Any ideas? Please post to comp.music. Thanks!
