  18. There is more than one for the Mac that will do capture and JPEG compression
  19. to disk in real time. RasterOps have their MoviePak add-in for various of
  20. their video input cards, and SuperMac have their DigitalFilm all-in-one card.
  21. I gather both of those were supposed to have started shipping this month,
  22. but you might try contacting the vendors to find out for sure.

  24. *Nobody* has got MPEG compression going in anything approaching real-time--
  25. certainly not full MPEG compression, with motion detection between frames.
