- When I hit "reply" for an item from a newsgroup, I expect to be
- replying to the newsgroup, *not* to the individual who wrote the
- item itself. "elm" doesn't agree, however; it feels the reply
- should go to the author, not the group.
- Is it possible to tell "elm" to change its habits in this respect?
- If so, can I as John-Doe type user do this (and where)?
- If not, is this on the wish list for 3.x?
-
- When I hit "reply" for an item from a BITnet discussion list, "elm"
- sometimes *does* use the discussion-list address as reply-address
- (which is what I want). But it's not consistent for all BITnet
- discussion lists, nor is it even consistent within one list.
- I'm going not-so-slightly cross-eyed... Same questions as above.
-
- The "alias current message" command (a) is not always consistent
- with the address used by "reply".
-
- If the above things are known bugs, OK.
- If not, then please say so, and I'll try to document some occurances.
-
- Regards.
