- I was using TI's microexplorer for a couple of projects before MCL2.0 was
- available. Some rough benchmarks indicated that the microexplorer was 2-4
- times faster than MCL running on an fx (depending on what was being
- measured). I think the explorer II is not radically faster than the
- microexplorer. Given that the 950 is faster than the fx, I would seriously
- doubt that the performance enhancements you need would come from switching
- hardware.
