  17. Another good source is nearly anything by A. Holub. 
  18. Holub's articles (in C Gazette) and his magnum opus on compiler construction
  19. ("writing compilers with c" i think - I don't have it handy)
  20. are chock full of practical explanations and full-length examples.

  22. I find that Holub's book complements the Dragon Book nicely and 
  23. is superior when what you require is a quick example.
