  12. I've received some phone calls and other questions about when
  13. OpenGL documentation will be available.  Here's an update.
  14.  
  15. Addison-Wesley is publishing a 2 volume set, a Reference Manual
  16. and a Programmer's Guide.
  17.  
  18. The Reference Manual is NOW rolling off the presses and should
  19. begin hitting bookstores in January, 1993.  I have a copy of
  20. the book on my desk!  The Reference Manual has an overview, 
  21. the man pages, and a way informative poster of the OpenGL state 
  22. machine.  The cover of the Ref Manual is predominantly blue.

  24. The Programmer's Guide is still undergoing internal review.  It
  25. has not yet gone to the printers, but we have first drafts of
  26. every one of the 13 chapters.  We (the authors) are confident
  27. that the Programmer's Guide should be hitting bookstores this spring.
  28. The cover of this book will be predominantly red.
