  13. This is a call those who were involved in a discussion a while back
  14. about startrek 3D objects (klingons, enterprise, etc.) and where to
  15. put them and in what format.
  16.  
  17. Could these people please place these objects in the format of their
  18. convenience at the ftp site : avalon.chinalake.navy.mil in the
  19. pub/incoming directory. If you didn't know, avalon seems to be the
  20. definitive 3D object archive site now with files in many formats
  21. (currently Movie BYU, DKB trace, AutoCad DXF, Haines' NFF, nurbs,
  22. Wavefront OBJ, OFF, POV-ray, Imagine TDDD and some others).

  24. If anyone has any other objects (in the public domain) that they
  25. feel others could benefit from please place them here as well.
  26. There is also a directory for format converters, so these would
  27. be also valued.

  29. Unfortunately I lost the original articles, so I can't contact the
  30. authors directly so if anyone knows the addresses of the others
  31. or still has the articles, could they please forward this message
  32. on to them.
