  33. HP-PHIGS 2.3 on HP-UX 9.0 using Motif 1.2 provides a new Motif Widget called 
  34. "XgPhigsDraw" that creates an PHIGS workstation that is attached to a Motif
  35. DrawingArea.

  37. HP-PHIGS MOTIF WIDGET: XgPhigsDraw

  39.     A new Motif 1.2 widget has been added for HP-PHIGS that will provide
  40.     the following assistance:

  42.         - Automatically opens a HP-PHIGS workstation inside of a Motif 
  43.           DrawingArea widget
  44.         - Handle resizing the workstation when the window is resized
  45.         - Redraw the workstation when the window is exposed
  46.         - Set the Window Manager colormap priority for the HP-PHIGS colormap
  47.         - Close the HP-PHIGS workstation when the Motif widget is destroyed

  49.     An example HP-PHIGS application using the new widget and demo program
  50.     explaining the different options can be found in the examples (i.e.,
  51.     /usr/lib/phigs/examples/Xg) and demo (i.e., /usr/lib/phigs/demos/Xg)
  52.     directories included in the HP-PHIGS 2.3 Programming Environment
  53.     product.
