  12. I think that the software for SGI is out of the price range for most
  13. people interested in setting up home studios. I work with Softimage
  14. and Wavefront, both go for about $50,000. This is more than the system
  15. price. Softimage is an incredible program but a tad expensive. How
  16. about an Amiga 4000? I have heard that they have finally fixed that
  17. damn monitor flicker at 24 bits. Imagine is also supposed to be fairly
  18. nice. I have friends making broadcast (ie. Universe TV show) quality
  19. animations with it.
