- I remember having seen a MS-Windows screen driver for a special
- 'continuous edge graphics' palette chip (by Analog Devices), which uses
- anti-aliasing for displaying fonts.
- The effect was that it was possible to display a text which normally fits
- only to 800x600 displays (to be legible) on a 640x480 display and the
- text being MORE legible than aliased with higher resolution ....
