- I just installed Emacs on my 386 PC. I am using the version that I found in
- the archive at oak.oakland.edu. This announces itself as Demacs version
- 1.2.0 (based upon emacs 18.55). Once I got the environment variables sorted
- out demacs works correctly even with 386MAX. However, after exiting demacs
- (with C-x C-c) any DOSKEY macros are lost as is the DOSKEY command recall
- function.
-
- Is there any way to fix this so that my DOSKEY macros are kept and my
- command recall will continue to work?
-
- Regards, Trevor.
