- Does anyone have MicroEmacs 3.1Xx sources for the Macintosh, or know
- where I might obtain them ? How about C sources for ANSI terminal
- emulation under Think C which are a little more flexible than Think's
- console library ?
-
- My intention is to embed emacs into some other application specific sofware
- I am writing and I happen to have a Mac to do it on - ie, I want to avoid
- spending too much time becoming intimately familar with Macintosh
- programming if possible (it's not my native tongue) since what I am writing
- is to be portable to other systems (including those without GUIs) which I
- will be using later.
-
- I have a copy of Earle R. Horton's port of MicroEmacs 3.10a for the
- Macintosh done at the end of 1989 (which did not include source) so I know
- it's been done at least once before. I also have the official MicroEmacs
- 3.11 sources obtained from the C User's Group but code supporting the Mac
- is not included in the release. I live a long way from the US but will
- (snail) mail Dan Lawrence this question. However, I was kinda hoping
- someone else on the rather more expedient USENET might have an answer.
-
- Many thanks if you do,
-
