- If using a Sun try the Openwindows textedit. Its very simple but some of our
- users are quite happy with it. There is also a C specific editor based on
- the sunview textedit program (called Cedit?) which I've seen man pages for -

- We also have a thing called AXE which I believe is PD/freeware and is like a
- vastly improved xedit(the X windows freebie not the IBM one) - its a bit
- buggy but adequate.

- Finally there is a mouse/windows version of EMACS called LEMACS which is
- very powerful (but still Emacs :-)
