  25. The coin rate is the operator-assisted rate.  The calling-card rate is
  26. usually less than the operator-assisted rate.  Intra-state calls
  27. usually cost far more (per mile) than inter-state calls.  I'm not sure
  28. what carrier you were using, or whether your call crossed a LATA
  29. boundary.  All of these affect the price.
