  19. Well, did you see my recent post on the Macronix modem?  In that post
  20. I also described how I had chronic trouble getting the US Robotics
  21. Worldport 9600 MNP modem to 
  22. do an MNP handshake with other MNP-4 modems.  I finally gave up on that
  23. modem and sent it back to USR, hoping they will do some sort of appropriate
  24. gesture.  (I had already sent in the modem for warranty repair after which
  25. the modem still had the same troubles.)
