  22. My problem is that we have had two Sportster 14,400 w/FAX and one
  23. Shared Access (built on same chassis) go up in smoke.  All three
  24. displayed the same symptoms.  It took forever to get through to USR
  25. customer support and, when I finally did, they told me to expect to
  26. wait 6-8 weeks for replacements.  We returned the Sportsters
  27. (except the one I kept) to the dealer and the replacement Shared
  28. Access was returned in 5 weeks from USR.  At the time, we were
  29. considering replacing over 100 UDS Motorola v32/42bis modems with
  30. the Sportsters.
