- A couple of years back I wired a Trailblazer Plus into a 3B2 of some
- flavour which was acting as an I/O processor for a 3B4000. I grabbed the
- hardware manual, one of those devices which wires an RJ45 socket to a DB-25,
- and wired one up myself.
-
- Unfortunately, this was a one-time thing and some time ago. We did not
- test it extensively, and I don't remember much of what I learned at the time.
- I do remember, however, that the hardware was trivially simple (if you have
- RS-232 pin usage for high speed modems memorized and access to a pinout
- diagram for the RJ45), and the software no more tedious than setting up a
- dialin/dialout modem on, say SCO XENIX. <ducking>
