  13. I noticed in a post (that I don't seem to be able to find) here a 
  14. suggestion to get an external modem. Doesn't make much sense to me; what's 
  15. the difference other than having an external display of current modem 
  16. conditions? If nothing else, the lack of an UART in the external models is a 
  17. strike against them; chews up an external serial port. I've got plenty of 
  18. expansion space in my Zeos 386, but only 1 extra serial port. Of course, not 
  19. many other things seem to need that port...

  21. Does the Digicom Scout have problems on dirty lines? Does the Qmodem program 
  22. include the mail program OLX?
