  31. I also have just put in a new set of BOCA 1.27 ROMs.  For me there are some
  32. definite improvements.  Much better detection of busy signals, so no long
  33. timeouts with constant busy.  Also no false detect of ring as busy.  No lockup
  34. yet, although I may not have had it long enough.  Even though the UART is
  35. still only 16450, I have had no buffer overruns even on 250k downloads--
  36. previous I could expect at least one buffer overrun in about 30-60k blocks.
  37. For me most things are positive.  Have had a couple occasions when the
  38. modem did not disconnect upon carrier drop, but that is not consistent.
