- Hi all. Thanks to everyone who helped set me straight on uploading to the
- local Internet machine. Now for round 2...
-
- I have had considerable trouble uploading to some local HST/DS's and such
- using Ymodem-G. The transfer either does not send the initial NAK to me,
- or I get a few errors and an abort. Zmodem on the same connection works
- just dandy and gives me NO errors at all. This problem has come up on
- several modems, which makes me think my end is at fault.
-
- Here are my local stats:

-
- The connections, in summary, are v.32bis, LAP-M, v.42bis, port locked at 57600.
-
- Oh, funny stuff: when I lose the Ymodem-G upload, the error is invariably
- "Sender aborted". Don't look at me - I didn't even touch it :-)!!
-
- The modem is a PPI 14400FX (internal) w/1.15m ROMs. the 16550 UART is being
- used, of course. The software is Qmodem 4.52TD, which has an internal Y-G.
