  17. There are 16-it dumb serial cards. You need a 16-bit slot to enable high IRQs
  18. (go beyond IRQ8).

  20. Mostly these cards are multi I/O cards (4 serial, 1 parallel, 1 game, 1 mouse)
  21. with 16550's preinstalled and bidirectional parallel ports.
