  14. Has anyone out there had any luck connecting a ZyXEL 1496E with 5.02 ROMS to
  15. a Telebit 1000 under V.32?  I haven't had much luck at all..  usually it
  16. doesn't connect, but if it DOES, its 2400/MNP4...  I have a similar problem
  17. with a MultiTech V.32-it always connects, but only at 2400/MNP4.

  36. I set S38.5=1 to disable MNP5 (is this the problem?), S42.2=1 to enable
  37. throughput averaging (slows things down a tiny bit, but results in much
  38. smoother response).

  40. I seem to remember someone saying something about the ZyXEL not connecting
  41. if it is set to &K4 but the other end is not set to its equivalent setting.

  43. Will the 5.04 ROMs help?  I've got the binaries, but need to go out and get
  44. a couple of EPROMs..
