  13. Hello! I need to set up a GVC V.32/V.42bis modem for a friend, and
  14. he's lost his manual. I want to know how you have to set it up so that
  15. it only gives one type of CONNECT response for error correcting modem,
  16. eg. now it gives CONNECT 9600T/V42BIS for V.42bis mode, and 9600/MNP
  17. for MNP mode, my friend wants it to say the same thing for both these
  18. modes, like the US Robotics says CONNECT SOMETHING/ARQ. Is this
  19. possible?
