  16. Your main problem will be that when enough logical logs fill up, your
  17. transaction will be rolled back.  Not too serious, really.  Why don't
  18. you start the transaction when you know you have some work to do?

  20. I don't recognise the version of the software -- are you running on
  21. Plexus kit?  If so, it's not quite the standard product (it probably
  22. has some blob support which Informix's version of Turbo did not have),
  23. and the answer may, just conceivably, be different.
