  14. I am considering developing a simulation of a database system that will be
  15. accessible to users across the United States.  As a first step, I did a
  16. literature search to see if anyone else has developed such a simulation.
  17. To my surprise, I found no relevant literature.  If you have any useful
  18. references or insights as to why no one else has used simulation as a
  19. tool to analyse the cost and design issues of fielding a large database
  20. system, please contact me.
