  17. If you are referring to QWK format mail readers, there are a few
  18. you can look at.  SPEED READ (SPEED120.ZIP) has a fairly nice
  19. user interface and allows purging of message by # of dates and
  20. some other criteria.  Its main lack, to me, is no internal editor
  21. and the inability to read more than one message at the same time.
  22. When I have a database, I would like to quote and reference saved
  23. messages easily while I type my reply, hence the need for both of
  24. the above.

  26. MegaMail Reader (MEGAR210.ZIP) reads both QWK and MegaMail for-
  27. mat.  It is one of the first database type reader on the market.
  28. It does have a useable internal editor and the ability to refer-
  29. ence messages in any conference/echo and any BBS.  Its user
  30. interface can use some work, IMO.

  32. There is a new program coming out soon called RoboMail by the
  33. author who brought us Robocomm.  It is both one-packet-at-a-time
  34. reader and database.  From his work on Robocomm, I would say he
  35. has no problem with user interface.  What features the program
  36. has, I don't know.  But beta testers say it will be out real soon
  37. now.
