- I was waiting to see if anyone else would answer, but since no one has...
-
- SIMTEL20 is one of the main sites for PD/Shareware MS-DOS stuff. However,
- it is usually busy and quite slow. Some other locations that mirror
- SIMTEL but are much easier to use include:
-
- rigel.acs.oakland.edu, in directory /pub/msdos
- nic.funet.fi, same directory
- wuarchive.wustl.edu, in /mirrors/msdos
-
- For Microsoft Windows, try ftp.cica.indiana.edu in /pub/pc/win3.
-
- For harder-to-find files, archie might be of some help. Telnet to
- archie.rutgers.edu or archie.unl.edu and login as "archie". Type
- "help" and read the help screens for more info.
-
- Also, try reading comp.os.msdos. The monthly FAQ list should have
- a list of sites in it.
