  22. I've tried to use various cad, cad wannabes, and easy-to-use home design
  23. packages in designing my future home and they all stink in various 
  24. degrees.

  28. You are a CAD professional and know how to work CAD. A fellow here at work
  29. used AutoCAD to design his home in multi-layer drawings. Took a while, 
  30. but he was successful.

  32. The only package that I have used more or less successfully is Autosketch.
  33. It can do quite a few things but is not as intimidating as full blown CAD
  34. systems.
