- I find that the present versions of PC-Kermit and C-Kermit (mainframes
- and workstations) available from Columbia University do preserve file
- date/time stamps, at least in Sliding Windows mode. Also, if the
- target file name already exists, either the new or the existing file
- (depending upon which way the transfer goes) is renamed, so that you
- can decide later what to do with them.
