- This makes NO sense to me. Are you saying you prefer those stupid mechanical
- contraptions or the belts that always seem to get in the way and which do
- not work as well just because you are too lazy to put on the seatbelt?
- Is this way all the rest of us have to be forced to have these rotten things
- in new cars? Also I hope you realize that as air bags get more "popular"
- the regular seatbelts make a return (now if only they would offer a 4, 5 or
- 6 point harness as an option!!!).

- passive. I want a choice. I want to be able to get out of the driver's
- seat and slide over to the passenger seat. I want simple safety devices
- to reduce the risk of failure. I want people to use common sense.
