  12. On Fri, 18 Dec 1992 11:12:46 EST, Richard Varenas <VARENAS@DUVM.BITNET> said:
  13.
  14. >What I really want is a synonym for node test so that mail addressed
  15. >to 'test' would go to 'test.ocs.drexel.edu' regardless of the userid
  16. >specified.
  17.
  18. Why not just source-route it there with an entry in the OUTGOING: table?
  19. Something like:
  20.
  21. --------------------
  22. ; variable definition section:
  23. viaTEST=@test.ocs.drexel.edu             ;this is for node TEST
  24. ...
  25. OUTGOING:
  26. TEST YOURFAV SMTPID BSMTP 3 %viaTEST
  27. ...
  28. ----------------
  29.
  30. Then when a file was received destined for USERID@TEST, the
  31. BSMTP exit would send a BSMTP file to SMTPID@YOURFAV with
  32.          RCPT TO:<USERID%TEST@test.ocs.drexel.edu>
  33.
  34. Probably not ideal.  But I bet it'd work.
