  18. well, gail and dan in potatoland spent a pretty 'boring' newyears.  we stayed
  19. at home, and actually went to sleep about 1030 pm.!!!  guess that PROVES
  20. we're getting old.  I had taken my antibiotics for bronchitis and they
  21. really knocked me out...and gail almost alwasy goes to sleep well before
  22. midnight.  Anyhow, since I have to drink a lot with my bronchitis i woke up
  23. to go to the bathroom....and that woke gail up....and she said 'me too'...
  24. so as i was staggering towards the bathroom....i noticed the digital clock
  25. said 1200.....and gail noticed it too....and we said happy new year to
  26. each other.....and both staggered back to bed....and said happy new year
  27. again....and went right back to sleep...

  31. today we stayed inside all day (though gail did go outside to get
  32. the paper, and to grill some salmon for supper on the gas grill, about three
  33. feet outside the kitchen door)....it was very windy and cold....

  35. we watched football and ate and watched football....and snoozed (at least
  36. i did)......and gail did laundry....another exciting day....i haven't even
  37. felt good enough to play with the HO trains....oh, well....
