- A "Scapular" in the religious sense is also a kind of monk's robe. Could this
- be a special kind of rosary, maybe? It sounds like one; the ones I see in
- the stores here are often beaded chains with crucifixes on them. As another
- meaning for "scapular" is a "medal of office", it seems like a pretty good
- guess to me.....:-)
