- I thought the article was a bit too optimistic, with its overtones
- of "we've been here before" and its discussion of "Boomers" was
- simplistic. The caricature Boomers resemble me only at the weak
- eyes. The illustrator forgot that the hippie/radical/loudmouth
- Boomers were only a small fraction of the cohort. Some of the
- manifestations of "brain dead" behavior among "Thirteeners" were
- common in earlier generations.
