- You are absolutely right about its output features. They are severely
- limited. While almost anything is possible using macros and code to generate
- output data sets, this is too common a need not to be automated.

- On your 2nd issue. Have you tried resetting the amount of working memory in
- "preferences"? The default is 512k but can be reset as high as 16mb. The
- manual says to optimize speed keep it as low as possible without running out
- of memory.

- I like SPSS for Windows in a relative sense compared to older versions of SPSS
- and SAS 6.04. There are problems to be certain, but I think its a good start.
