  13. I'll put in a word for the HP (35480a) 8 gig tape drive.  It uses 4mm DAT
  14. tapes and uses compression to achieve the 8gigs.  So realistically you'll
  15. get anywhere from 3-6 gigs of storage per tape IMHO.  The cost is around
  16. $1700 for this drive.  We use it with ARCserve 4.0 NLM and find it to be an
  17. excellent solution for our backup needs.

  19. Our source for the drive was Cranel Inc, 800-288-3475.  This company was
  20. extremely helpful when we encountered any problems.  So I would
  21. highly recommend them to anyone.
