- I ran across a couple of old messages that may apply to the recent
- question about logging out an idle connection...
-
- "There are a couple of shareware beasties called 'wogout' and 'logout'
- for windows/dos ....They might be available on uunet or simtel20. I
- know they're on compu$erve in novlib." (From Bob Lombard)
-
- "There is a shareware product called 'idleboot' .... you can find it
- on wuarchive.wustl.edu in the mirrors/msdos/lan directory." (From
- Tony Sheehan)
-
- BTW I have personally tried the NLICLEAR.NLM from the updates disks
- from Novell and it seems to work. One frustration is that if a user re-boots
- their computer and doesn't log in during the specified idle period they
- lose their network connection and get a network error message.
