- Hello,
-
- I'm relatively new to the this group, so excuse me if I'm bringing
- up old news, but I have been reading the list for about a month and no
- one has addressed a problem we're having here. I'm hopeful that perhaps
- someone could help me find out what's going on with our RPRINTER TSR.
- (The printers attached to the workstations are all defined as REMOTE.)
- Every now and then it just disappears out of our workstation's memory.
- We're running DOS 5.0 and I use MEM /C to look at the workstation's
- memory and RPRINTER just "ain't" there. This has happened on COMPAQs,
- IBM-PCs, and Clones. The people using the workstations are mainly using
- WordPerfect off our Novell Network (NetWare 3.11). It has happened so
- sporadically that I wasn't sure, at first, if it really was disappearing
- or if people were doing something really silly, but ... now I know it does.
-
- My question is: has anyone else experienced this? And, if so, what
- the heck is causing RPRINTER to disappear?
-
- Thanks in advance for any help or ideas you can shed on this.
