- We've just acquired a program called WinLogin from Microsoft, which enables
- far greater control over Windows on a network than previous - allowing
- central control over Windows startup based on groups, workstation type,
- user, and environment variables. It looks the sort of packge which
- Microsoft should have shipped with Windows 3.1 from day 1. Cost: 30 per
- server from Microsoft Upgrade Centre.
-
- I won't say anymore about it until I've evaluated it properly, but it must
- be a step forward.
